Mastering PCR Primer Design: A Hands-On Training Session at IMPM

On Friday, April 26th, 2024, the IMPM conference hall hosted a practical training session on PCR primer design, led by Dr. Emmanuel KAGNING TSINDA, a Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT)-based Cameroonian scientist focused on viral genome sequencing and pharmaceutical quality control.

qPCR training is in full swing at the laboratory of molecular biology and biotechnology/IBHI unit

During two consecutive days organized by the Inqaba Biotec CAF team, 10 selected IBHI lab and associated members participated in an enriching training session on real-time Quantitative Polymerase Chain Reaction (rt-qPCR), exploring the theoretical foundations, practical applications, and data analysis techniques of qPCR associated with genetic expression.

The head of the Laboratory visited the Centre for research in Infectious Diseases in Yaounde , Cameroon on January 17th, 2023, and shared his expertise on the Impact of schistosome infection on vaccines efficacy and presented techniques that can be helpful in increasing the efficiency of malaria vaccines.
